Coastline Housing Ltd is an independent, not-for-profit housing association owning and managing over 4,100 homes. The company’s purpose is to build great homes and offer great services provided by great people.
The challenge faced by Coastline Housing is enormous. In many areas of Cornwall, high house price rises have excluded many people from owning their own home. Thousands of families have registered for affordable rented housing in the county and many more are known to be in need.
With a growing annual turnover - currently £24 million - and staff totalling over 250, Coastline Housing’s contribution to solving this problem and improving people’s lives continues to increase.
The Coastline Housing brand includes our subsidiary Coastline Services which offers top quality repairs and maintenance services to companies and individuals.
Coastline Housing received the prestigious Investors In People Gold award re-accreditation in September 2015.

PERFORMANCE
Coastline is committed to improving performance in all areas of our business.
We use performance management to help us improve the service we provide to our customers. We have a performance management framework, which details what our objectives and targets are and how our plans and policies link together to achieve these.
It is very important that our staff, and our stakeholders, can see how we are progressing towards the targets we have set out in our business plan. This helps us to understand how well we are providing services to our customers and how close we are to achieving our vision.
Our performance indicators have been developed to reflect and measure how well we are achieving our four key strategic objectives which are to:
- Provide excellent services to our customers
- Maintain our homes and neighbourhoods to high standards
- Develop new homes in partnership with local communities
- Make our business financially stronger for the future
