We care for both our customers and the environment. We help local authorities and businesses minimise the amount of waste that goes to landfill by transforming it into valuable resources, and we retrieve the full value of the resources we collect and process, so they can be used again and again. Waste that cannot be recycled, we transform into energy.
FCC Environment was created in 2012 when Focsa Services (UK) and Waste Recycling Group (both part of global infrastructure, environmental services and energy group FCC Citizen Services) came together under a new brand.
A major acquisition in June 2024 has further strengthened the business’ position as one of the country’s leading waste management operators enabling us to expand our product and service offering with Severn Waste Services and Mercia Waste Management, J&B Recycling, Wastewise and all affiliated businesses now at the heart of our FCC family.
We employ thousands of people and operate a range of recycling, treatment and disposal facilities across the UK. We are part of one of the world’s largest environmental services companies, which has activities throughout Europe, Africa, North and South America.
