We’ve worked hard to build this reputation and now offer a wide range of qualifications – from post-16 to postgraduate and professional development – all within a beautiful rural environment that incorporates excellent facilities.

It’s this combination that makes us unique and, when coupled with our commitment to innovation in teaching, learning and assessment, and focus on student support, it means everyone who joins us is soon on course to succeed.

This commitment to being the best is ongoing and we have invested over £45 million in recent years to provide world-class facilities in which you can learn and grow. With leisure, social and sporting facilities to match, everything is in place for you to join us and have the time of your life.

Progression Promise

Moulton College is committed to ensuring everyone in our community can develop their education and skills to the highest level.

If you study a full-time programme from Entry-Level to Level 2 or you are a year 1 student of a 2 year Level 3 course, you will be guaranteed progression on to the identified next level course, so long as you meet the criteria below:

- you have completed and achieved your main qualification, e.g. BTEC Diploma
- attended all exams required for your programme of study including functional skills and GCSE (where applicable)
- submitted all of your coursework on time
- met the College’s standards in relation to performance, attendance and behaviour.
Some Level 2 and Level 3 programmes in technical areas, such as Plumbing, require a higher level of Maths or English skills than you may have achieved. If this is the case, we will support you to achieve additional Maths and/or English qualifications first.

Our wide range of financial support awards, transport and residency options remain available to all progressing students. Please remember to re-apply, an application for any of these services is required for each year of study. As always Student Services and the Transport staff will be more than happy to answer questions and assist you in completing the necessary forms.

Students who receive Learning Support, and those who hold an EHCP are encouraged to discuss their needs with the Head of Learning Support and make sure reviews reflect the student’s next steps.

Students who will be aged 19+ for the start of the academic year should also speak to Student Services if they have not already discussed any associated fees for the course.
