A FEW WORDS ABOUT US
Our oceans are a vast, untapped natural energy resource with potential to make significant contributions to the UK and Ireland’s energy needs. Recognising this, Simply Blue Energy Ltd. was established in 2011 and has assembled an experienced board and executive team for the purposes of developing both offshore wind and wave energy farms.
In 2018 we set up a subsidiary, Simply Blue Aquaculture, to apply our Blue Economy experience to the salmon farming sector, developing new salmon farms with a focus on low impact solutions.
WHAT SIMPLY BLUE ENERGY OFFER AS A PROJECT DEVELOPER
Simply Blue Energy is a blue economy project developer. We work with the sea to help deliver long term sustainable projects that will be part of mankind’s move towards one planet living. This might be capturing energy through floating wind or wave energy projects, or through creating food by developing sites for sustainable aquaculture farms.
To do this we search out the best opportunities in the UK and Irish waters, bringing together the right partners to create an investable proposition in a natural resource that can deliver sustainable value for the future.
