Our client is seeking to recruit qualified Planners (3-5 years') with proven professional experience in all areas of planning, with a particular focus on development planning.

The successful candidates will work within the multi-disciplinary environment, collaborating with the Planning, Landscape, Urban Design / Master Planning, and Visualisation Teams.

Our Planning work profile is currently focused on major city centre commercial and mixed use developments, in addition to large scale residential developments in the Dublin area. We also provide planning consultancy services to Statutory Bodies and Local Authorities, and are currently preparing a range of town and area plans nationwide.

The practice is seeking to recruit qualified Planners with proven professional experience in all areas of planning, with a particular focus on environmental and development planning.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to work within planning and design teams, and be able to demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, determination and a willingness to learn and to grow professionally.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post-graduate work experience responding to specific role being applied for
  • A recognised (accredited) degree/qualification in Planning
  • Membership of IPI and/or RTPI, or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a range of market sectors, for public and private clients
  • Experience of environmental planning (EIAR / SEA), development planning, feasibility analysis
  • Knowledge of relevant software including MS office, GIS, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent communication, report writing, & presentational skills
  • Self-motivation, attention to detail and commitment to high-quality delivery
  • Capability to respond to tight reporting requirements, deadlines, and internal reporting arrangements
  • Strong inter-personal skills with ability to work as part of a team
