Farm Cluster Facilitator
Salary: £15,000 per annum (£25,000 FTE)
Contract Type: Fixed term
Working Hours: Part time
Location: Callow Rock, Cheddar, Somerset, BS27

Our client is a local independent charity and the only organisation uniquely focused on improving the natural environment of Somerset for the benefit of wildlife and people. It’s a really exciting time to be joining this charity as they launch their new 10-year 'Wilder Somerset 2030' strategy. At the heart of the strategy is the development of Nature Recovery Networks across the landscape with particular emphasis to engage and support landowners across the county to deliver nature-based solutions and nature recovery on their land.

This organisations is currently recruiting for a new team member to co-ordinate their Mendip Hills based Facilitation Fund work and help shape their farm cluster approach across Somerset. This is important work that will enable this new vision; to deliver a Somerset-wide nature recovery network creating more space for wildlife, benefiting everyone, and playing its part in helping to reverse biodiversity loss and tackle the climate crisis.

The successful candidate will be based in Callow, with a mix of home and office working; you will also need to travel to locations around the county due to the rural nature of Somerset, using your own vehicle.

This is a fixed term contract, 22.5 hours per week position.
