EHS Specialist – Tipperary/Kilkenny/Waterford/Carlow/Dublin

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform Occupational Health assessments for potential health hazards at various workplaces including: Chemicals, Particulates, Noise, Vibration, Heat Stress, Ergonomics.
• Conduct qualitative industrial hygiene exposure assessments including walk-through surveys and inspections.
• Conduct occupational safety audits.
• Prepare concise technical reports for the assessments including meaningful recommendations.
• Interpretation of routine industrial hygiene requirements and regulations.
• Assist Project Managers in coordinating, planning and executing projects.
• Assist in industrial hygiene/safety related training courses.
• Work independently on projects

About 40- 50% of average travel is required within Ireland and Europe and UK.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s (preferred) degree in Occupational Health/Environment or related field.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.

Recent graduates / entry-level professionals can apply. Work experience of 1-3 years is benfecial.

Demonstrated experience in performing Industrial Hygiene monitoring is preferred.
