Our Sustainability business area has grown rapidly over the last year from 36 to 55 staff and we expect continued strong growth over the coming years.

The opportunity:
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, committed Consultant or Senior Consultant (depending on experience) to join our circular economy team. Our circular economy team works to create practical and scalable solutions that will directly support organisations in moving towards a more sustainable future.

You will work within a team that wins and delivers a wide range of circular economy projects covering policy research, strategy and action plan development and circular business model support. Your work will involve technical delivery of circular economy projects including waste and material flow mapping, regulatory reviews, market assessments, circular opportunities identification and assessment, impact assessments, stakeholder engagement and report writing.

As a project manager, you will be expected to understand how to manage a project’s delivery, controlling budgets and timings, and allocating tasks to colleagues as required. You will also undertake business development activities which will include competitive bidding and client relationship management. You will have experience of competitive bidding in a consultancy environment.

Key competencies and experience:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Experience of delivering circular economy and sustainability solutions including assessing opportunities and implementing change.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Ability to present complex information and ideas to diverse range of audiences.
• Experience of competitive bid writing in a consultancy environment or similar.
• Understanding of the UK and EU circular economy policy landscape.
• Understanding of circular economy principles.
