Operations analyst required for an established renewable developer’s Cheshire office. Joining the Operations & Maintenance team, you would provide technical onshore wind expertise to improve wind farm performance with a primary focus on operational wind farms in Scotland.

Salary Bracket: �25k – 40k negotiable, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee and carry out monitoring and analysis of turbine performance using SCADA to measure availability and increase performance with analytics i.e. downtime, impact to availability
* Develop, manage & maintain asset management database for operational wind farms
* Chart major component replacements and record service and inspection turbine works
* Measure and manage OEM performance with key performance indicators
* Carry out and oversee monthly reporting of wind farm performance
* Create plant availability report to off-takers for operational wind farms
* Work with Operations Supervisor to examine faults, stops, repair times to create daily performance, fault, downtime & yield report
* Weekly communication with OEMs regarding planned works with input in to monthly meetings to present KPI processes and contract availability
* Manage monthly contractual availability calculations working alongside finance team for sign off with OEM
* Manage and update asset management database covering statutory inspections, HV maintenance etc
* Carry out technical analysis of turbines with the use of analytics to reduce downtime and increase yield
* Work with software providers to create and implement data analysis to improve technical issue reporting and measuring methodology with a proactive approach
* Work alongside Operations Supervisors and control centre to ensure safe operation

Skills and experience:

* Degree in Physics, Maths or similar numerate discipline
* Demonstrable success managing assets for optimisation
* Experience in operational wind analysis
* Strong communication skills
