Energy Surveyor & Analyst
We are looking for a dynamic person to join our team in protecting and enhancing our client’s energy investments and ensuring they perform to their full potential.
Responsibilities
• Undertake on-site surveys of existing installations including generation and infra structure
• Identify and deliver assigned tasks and projects within defined timescales and budgets
• Manage flexible energy contracts for our clients and help build bespoke financial reports
• Propose innovative ways data science can be applied to improve the reliability of reporting and decision making
• Produce high-quality technical reports and documentation as appropriate to the role and follow quality procedures for their release
• Write regular reports on energy and market developments
Skills & Experience
• A relevant HNC, HND or degree in a related discipline with strong data processing skills
• 3+ years’ experience in energy industry such as a consultancy or related sector
• Ideally have some understanding of UK’s transmission and distribution frameworks and policy developments for renewable technologies, including existing and new support mechanisms for renewables and interaction with wider market design
• Strong quantitative, writing, communication and analytical skills
• High proficiency in MS Office applications, include Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Able to work within a dynamic environment with good attention to detail
• Able to work to tight deadlines and self-manage priorities against multiple tasks
This is a great opportunity for a dedicated and exceptional candidate who will become part of our close-knit team of individuals. This role can be based in Belfast, Fort William, Lancashire or Dorset.
Salary: £27k to £35k
