Project Planner & Procurement Specialist - Solar PV EPC, UK market. Base salary to �70,000 P.A + Bonus, Home based working or London office.
We’re looking for an experienced procurement specialist, with a broad range of procurement, logistics, planning and project management experience.
This is an exciting opportunity with a solar PV project developer and construction firm who are building a large portfolio of utility scale projects in the UK.
About you
You will be joining an established European firm with a very strong balance sheet and a meaty pipeline of solar projects to build out.
Ideally you have experience of the UK solar energy sector, or broader energy / construction sector.
You’ll play a key role in the team bringing large solar construction projects to fruition, you’ll take charge of working with the supply chain and negotiating terms with suppliers of essential equipment & services:
• HV Cables
• Solar PV Modules & Inverters
• Mounting systems
• Fencing
• Security Surveillance kit
• Civils and Ground Works packages
• Construction sub-contractors
You’ll work closely with colleagues in finance, project management and operations to help build projects on time and to budget.
Essential Requirements:
• Solar, renewable energy, or energy sector procurement experience
• Project planning / logistics / project management skills
• Analytical approach, commercially astute
• Strong technical affinity – ability to define purchase criteria for mechanical and electrical products
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively
• Outstanding MS Office skills, in particular Excel
• Comfortable working remotely and able to attend team meetings in London office as required (probably be-weekly or monthly)
• Right to work in the UK
Remuneration
Impressive basic salary up to �70,000 and bonus scheme.
