About this role

We are excited to be recruiting a full-time Philanthropy Manager as part of our growing Impact team at PANGAIA.

You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing all philanthropy activites and donations, across our two environmental funds and beyond. You will be the main point of contact for our external partners and will overlook all philanthropy related communications, both external and internal. You will be responsible for the philanthropy budget and planning, working closely with teams across the business on relevant activations and donations, as well as supporting the People team with volunteering opportunities and internal engagement.

A day in the life: 

• Developing and implementing an ever-expanding philanthropy strategy across People and Planet
• Overseeing and day-to-day management of all philanthropy initiatives, including budgets, activations and communications
• Building long-term partnerships between PANGAIA and educational or charitable groups and NGOs
• Monitoring and reporting on budget, donations & progress towards our objectives
• Increasing awareness of PANGAIA’s social and environmental responsibility commitments, both internally and externally
• Fact checking all outgoing philanthropy communications to ensure accuracy & supporting the Content team on an ad hoc basis
• Partnering with the People team to encourage and develop opportunities for PANGAIA employees to engage in philanthropy and volunteering activities

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge & understanding of the NGO space, social and environmental sustainability, and DE&I
• 5+ years of experience working in a relevant field 
• Self-starter and team player
• Effective problem-solving & multi-tasking
• Great written and verbal communication skills including PowerPoint/Keynote & Excel/Googlesheets 
• Strong attention to detail, but able to place things in the bigger picture
• Great stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
