We're seeking a dedicated Senior or Principal Arboriculturist to join our clients team, a renowned environmental consultancy with a multi-disciplinary approach to sustainability.

Role Overview:

As a Senior/Principal Arboriculturist with us, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the assessment and management of the impact of development on trees and green spaces. You'll work with the team to conduct surveys, provide expert advice on tree preservation, and contribute to sustainable development projects alongside our team of environmental specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting tree surveys and assessments.
  • Providing expert advice on tree preservation and management.
  • Assessing the impact of development on trees and green spaces.
  • Collaborating with project teams to integrate arboriculture considerations into development plans.
  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in conducting tree surveys and assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of arboriculture practices and tree preservation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
