Our client is seeking a Consultant-level environmental professional to join their Environmental Impact Assessment team, based from any UK office. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects spanning onshore and offshore renewables, aviation, nuclear, rail, highways, and major infrastructure.

As one of the UK’s leading environmental consultancies, our client delivers projects ranging from local developments to nationally significant infrastructure schemes. The team is engaged throughout the full project lifecycle — from early concept and option development through consent, construction, and operation — helping shape projects that respond to environmental and community challenges while delivering positive outcomes such as biodiversity gain, improved air and water quality, and reduced carbon impacts.

The Role
As an EIA Consultant, you will coordinate environmental inputs to design and assessment processes, working closely with multidisciplinary specialists and engineering teams. Responsibilities include:

* Coordinating EIAs and environmental assessments
* Supporting bid preparation and project delivery
* Managing tasks, budgets, and programme inputs
* Preparing high-quality environmental statements and reports
* Contributing to innovative approaches, including digital EIA

About You

* Degree in an environmental discipline
* Membership (or working toward) IEMA, IES, CIWEM, or similar
* Experience supporting EIAs, particularly in energy or infrastructure
* knowledge of UK planning and environmental legislation
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

This role suits a proactive individual ready to take ownership, collaborate across disciplines, and progress their career while delivering meaningful environmental outcomes.
