Senior Environmental Engineer – Civil and Environmental Engineering, responsible for overseeing the planning and management of design work and CAD documentation in collaboration with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians. The role involves participating in site meetings with clients and other professionals, coordinating project activities and deliverables, liaising with clients, external stakeholders and sub-contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with quality assurance, management, health and safety requirements.
The position forms part of Fehily Timoney and Company’s Circular Economy and Environment team and focuses on sustainable infrastructure, waste and resource management and environmental engineering projects. Responsibilities include contributing to the design and delivery of infrastructure within the solid waste, bio-waste and sludge management sectors, with desirable experience in the design of anaerobic digestion facilities, solid waste management facilities or public realm projects.
The successful candidate will require a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant post-graduate professional experience, together with proven project management experience and strong communication, organisational and analytical skills. The role offers opportunities to develop technical and managerial expertise, with a defined pathway for progression towards Principal Engineer.
