Senior Health and Safety Consultant responsible for leading the delivery and development of construction safety, occupational health and safety, and health and safety advisory services across a diverse portfolio of projects. The role includes fulfilling the Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) function on renewable energy and standard construction projects, providing expert health and safety consultancy, and supporting clients in maintaining safe and compliant working environments.
The position involves leading health and safety consultancy service delivery, undertaking audits, inspections and accident or incident investigations, reviewing contractor Risk Assessments and Method Statements, and conducting company health and safety reviews and audits. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of staff health and safety training plans and promote a strong safety culture throughout MKO.
As a senior position within the Galway team, the role also involves leading the growth and development of MKO's Health and Safety services, engaging with clients and supporting business development activities. Candidates should have a third-level qualification in Safety and Health and at least five years' professional Health and Safety experience, including experience delivering consultancy services and fulfilling PSDP responsibilities.
