One of the largest redevelopment schemes in the North of England are currently adding to their environment team to do exactly that!
Managing a large scale urban regeneration project, our client is looking to bring in someone with Air Quality, Noise and/or Contaminated Land experience to help manage and review the technical environmental aspects of the planning process.

As the environmental lead in the joint venture (with a contractor and a local council) for one of the largest urban regeneration programmes in the NW, this consultancy are perfectly placed to provide you with a breadth of experience in the environmental monitoring and management of large schemes such as this.
In addition, working as part of a consultancy, opportunities for training and development are available and actively managed/encouraged.
What will I need to do?
You will be tasked with undertaking environmental consulting responsibilities for a variety of planning applications and redevelopment plans for the area.
As such you will be processing and providing advice at the application stage for environmental and health impacts of the development and re-appropriation of land, including noise, air quality and contaminated land. Prior experience and education in one or more of these technical disciplines is required.
As a part of these responsibilities, you will manage geo-environmental desk studies, ground investigation projects, and noise/air quality monitoring. You will also technically review and report back on Environmental Statements (ES) for projects, and provide wider environmental support and advice to the company’s other activities.
Our client are open to this position being undertaken on a part time basis, so if you’re looking to step out of a full time post then a 3 day week is up for discussion!
