Energy Assessor – NDEA and OCDEA

We are seeking to recruit a full time, experienced Energy Assessor to join our expanding team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering energy assessments for new build residential and non-domestic properties on a number of exciting schemes across the UK.
We offer a pleasant working environment with a varied workload and may accommodate flexible terms subject to negotiation, depending upon the candidate.

The successful applicant will have:

• NDEA (Level 4 qualified) accreditation - NEW BUILD 

• Experience of On Construction Energy Assessments (SAP) 

• Knowledge of Dynamic Simulation Modelling and BREEAM an advantage 

Applicants must have experience in completing building regulation Part L1A and L2A calculations along with a demonstrable knowledge of resolving Part L compliance issues in new non-domestic and domestic buildings along with strong understanding of Approved Document Part L and related third tier documents.

There may also be a requirement to undertake surveys of existing non-domestic buildings to generate the EPC.  

Duties will include:

• Completing energy assessments – new build compliance ADL1A and ADL2A
• Producing and lodging Energy Performance Certificates
• Report Writing 
• Responding to audit requests 
• Project management
• Developing client relations

You will manage your own workload and possess good time management skills.  A positive attitude, self-motivation and strong IT skills are necessary.
 
Salary in region of £30,000 per annum, commensurate with experience plus potential for structured bonus payments. 

Full, clean driving license and the right to live and work within the UK required.
