The Client

An opportunity has arisen with our client, an expanding global multidisciplinary consultancy for an individual to join the team.

Our client is a leading global multi disciplinary with a reputation of delivering high value and complex solutions to clients.  The environmental division is expanding and has an established trusted relationship with clients, delivering advisory work.

Their UK business employs environmental staff based from a number of locations, and covers a breadth of consulting services structured around service areas including; Compliance, Transactional advice, Environmental Impact Assessment, Sustainability and Project Finance work.  The extensive client base includes global multinationals, local and central government and international institutions.

The Role

An exciting opening has arisen for a senior consultant to work within the Manchester office. A motivated individual is sought, who is currently operating in a technical and professional organisation and is developing a proven track record in the delivery of quality consultancy services to high profile clients.  There is a requirement to deliver to deliver to clients Impact Assessment and associated services in conjunction with other divisions. 

The successful candidate would join an established and enthusiastic team in Manchester’s multi-disciplinary office and would contribute to the delivery of a range of interesting projects and clients within the UK.  In addition to client facing work and delivery, there is a mentoring culture within the organisation and team development would be expected working with staff in the other offices to increase knowledge and provide an effective delivery to clients.

Candidate Profile

It is anticipated that the successful candidate would have;

A track record of delivering UK based EIA projects 

Any individuals with specialist chapter experience of EIA, ie ecology etc would be of interest, if they have a broad appreciation of the EIA process

Appropriate qualifications and charterships 

A track record managing and delivering projects on time and on budget

An ability to communicate effectively and commercially with clients
