Cathcart Energy are recruiting for out client who is a UK-based renewable energy consultancy offering high-end technical, commercial and financial advice for companies that operate offshore and onshore wind.

We are looking for a degree qualified electrical/mechanical specialist who can take a consulting role to review existing wind farm defects/issues. This could be contract or permanent - immediate start available for the right candidate.

Highlights for this role:

* Experience (ideally from offshore projects) of reviewing technical documents and specifications related to turbine systems, and providing feedback on their capabilities/risks (technical due diligence)
* Can work within a team (potentially customer facing in a technical sense) and able to create reports/excel worksheets showing their findings
* Willing to travel, within Europe, on a frequent basis (every other week)
* Second language a bonus, especially German
* Can fill a “technical expert” role through their qualifications and experience, whilst keeping their feet on the ground to allow interaction with engineers/technicians involved in projects

There is someone currently in this role, so it would be working alongside them until they can redeploy the current person to a new role they have.

Can be located at a home office.
