Our client is an environmental charity working from an office base in Brighton, and they have a proven track record in environmental and social regeneration providing high quality sustainable projects across the South of England. 

The organisation is the local delivery partner for NCS (National Citizen Service) in Horsham and Mid-Sussex. NCS is a voluntary programme taking place during school holidays. It will help its 16 and 17 year old participants to become engaged with their communities, as well as empowering them to become active, responsible citizens. 

ROLE: NCS Team Leaders Summer 2018
SALARY: £7.83 - £9 per hour
CONTRACT TYPE: Zero hours 
OPERATIONAL AREA: Sussex and Surrey
LOCATION: Horsham and mid Sussex

ROLE DESCRIPTION:


The organisation is looking for motivated and enthusiastic people to lead teams of 15 young people on their NCS journey this summer. As Team Leaders your role is to support, motivate and engage with young people who have voluntarily signed up to NCS. 

It’s a fun, diverse job with good rates of pay and a really rewarding way to spend a month or two of your summer. 

Our client is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable groups. Inline with their Safer Recruitment & Selection Policy and Procedure, successful applicants are subject to references and an enhanced with barred lists disclosure check.

Due to insurance provision, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be aged 21 plus with more than 12 months driving history. If under 21 or with less that 12 months driving history applicant must have access to own vehicle with appropriate business use insurance.
