Highly regarded Planning firm requires an experienced Environmental Planner to join their established team in either their Central Birmingham office or their Sutton Coldfield offices.

Wide range of projects, well supported by colleagues across various teams, significant progression available.

A rare consultancy opportunity to join a top ten Planning consultancy who can provide you with a wide range of project types and responsibility. Due to significant project wins and ongoing plans for significant expansion, an opportunity for an Environmental Planner or Senior Environmental Planner with previous experience of EIA project management and co-ordination.

The ideal candidate will be chartered or working towards chartership and a member of IEMA. You should have upwards of 2 years’ relevant experience and be able to manage your own projects and support more senior staff in winning and delivery.

Responsibilities
As a senior member of the environmental planning team you will need to have had previous experience of co-ordinating Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and ideally you will have previously managed and mentored junior staff. The successful candidate will support associates/directors as well as manage project workload and assist with further business development.

Capabilities & Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant planning discipline
• A solid understanding of the EIA process
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• A strong team capability
• Chartered or working towards
