My client is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated individual with Environmental Compliance and Environmental Management System (EMS) experience to join their team in either London or Edinburgh (with the possibility of working in remotely in their offices). Ideally the successful candidate will also have some Environmental Due Diligence experience. The role would be to support and deliver Environmental Compliance, audit and EMS related projects as well as support on the delivery of environmental due diligence projects when required. Depending on experience the successful candidate will also help lead and grow the service line. This is the ideal position for someone who is ambitious, client focused and with working knowledge of UK (and potentially international) environmental legislation. Ideally the right candidate will have experience of working both in the UK and internationally and working with financial industrial and corporate clients.

London or Edinburgh, with potential to travel as necessary

Capabilities & Qualifications
• An appropriate degree qualification
• Excellent report writing skills
• Working knowledge of UK (and potentially international) environmental legislation
• Working understanding of designing and implementing EMS’s
• Willingness to travel
• Evidence of effective relationships with a number of important clients, offering advice and guidance in a prompt, commercially-focussed and professional manner.
• Be able to manage own workload, be proactive in managing projects and (depending on experience) be able to delegate to and provide support to the ESG DD team.
• Be personable and a team player.
• Have a full UK driving licence.
