AECOM currently have an excellent opportunity for a highly-motivated individual to take on a leading role as a Client Account Manager for Southern Water Services.

Based in Falmer, the role will require working closely with Southern Water Services to ensure we deliver an outstanding service to this key Client.

For this role we are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer, ideally with experience working for Southern Water Services, capable of working independently, and also coordinate client focused initiatives and project development.

Water Resource Management is one of the main components of our workload for Southern Water Services so experienced professionals with that background would also be of interest.

Job Details:

  • Coordination of the client facing activities to ensure an efficient and streamlined service.

  • The ideal candidate will be able to communicate with all levels of the client organisation and be able to work with the client to identify and develop projects. It is anticipated that these functions will be carried out in conjunction with a technical or project management role, ideally seconded, working on Southern Water Services projects.

Specific Skills Required:

  • Experience in delivering and managing all stages of multi-disciplinary water/water resources projects from initial studies through to detailed design.

  • Experience of working within multidisciplinary teams, and able to lead and mentor junior staff from a range of professional backgrounds.

  • Excellent communication skills and able to represent AECOM in Client facing roles at all levels.

  • Accustomed to working at the highest levels of HSSE compliance at all design stages.

  • Detailed knowledge of one or more of the following;

  • Clean water networks, pump stations, reservoirs and treatment works design.

  • Water Resources Studies.

  • Process design

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience working with Southern Water is not vital but would be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSc, BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or a Water Resources related field.

  • Chartered or close to Chartership with the ICE, CIWEM or other relevant professional body.
