A leading resource management, recycling and renewable energy company is looking to recruit an experienced Environment and Quality Manager. Reporting directly to the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and proactive approach to environmental and quality management within the business. 

Working as part of a small team, with sites across the South West, this is a great opportunity to join an organisation which is committed to driving forward environmental compliance and quality performance. 


Main Responsibilities: 

Ensure environmental legislative compliance for the company’s waste management operations 

Working closely with the management team to develop and implement environment policies and procedures, in line with the evolving needs of the business

Engaging at all levels across the organisation to embed environmental & quality best practice 

Maintaining the company’s external environmental and quality management certifications 

Conducting regular audits, compiling reports and communicating performance across the company 

Acting as the key environmental point of contact for a range of stakeholders, including regulators and customers

Leading on programmes of  work relating to environmental & quality  


Qualifications and Experience: 

Experience in a similar environment and quality management role 

A proven track record of improving performance 

Experience within the recycling and waste management industry 

Qualified to degree level in environmental science, planning, sustainable development or a related discipline

Membership of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management (CIWM) would be desirable
