Can you organise multiple organisations and stakeholders to support the creation of a ground-breaking vision? Do you have skills in areas of project planning, communications, administration and advocacy?

Ox-Cambs Vision Coordinator
Contract: 1 year fixed term
Part Time: 21 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 per annum FTE (£18,000 actual)
Based: Littlemore, Oxford and/or Blackthorn, Nr Bicester

Our client is looking for a coordinator to bring together as many non-governmental organisations (NGOs) as possible to support a vision for nature between Oxford and Cambridge. There is severe pressure on the area; the expressway is currently being consulted on, which will support the creation of one million houses. It is time that the environmental sector stood up and said this is what’s going to be needed to ensure nature thrives and so do people.

You will coordinate input from leading conservation NGOs who have already come together to agree that a vision needs to be created. You need to be able to juggle multiple parts of a project by having demonstrable project management skills. You will need to have experience of the conservation sector and knowledge of planning and environmental legislation, so you can get started on the work immediately. You will manage a budget and report to a steering group. Experience of working at a high level within an organisation would be beneficial.

This challenge would suit a knowledgeable and passionate individual, who wishes to work part time on a project that really could inspire and shape the landscape of the South East.

Our client is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing 90 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.

The closing date for applications is 9.00am on Wednesday 3rd October 2018.
Interviews will be held on w/c 15th October 2018 in Littlemore, Oxford

To find out more information, please click the apply button. You will then be taken to a simple CHM Recruit form and then redirected to the employer’s website where you can complete the application process.

Our client is an equal opportunities employer and they welcome applications from all sections of the community.
