We are currently looking to appoint an Engineer to work within our Water Business Line in Derry/Londonderry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inputting into the delivery of water and wastewater projects for our clients in Northern Ireland and Ireland, and will take the role of design team member on large or complex projects, and/or the role of designer on programmes of smaller projects, where appropriate. You will also be responsible for mentoring Junior Engineers and Technicians to promote their technical and professional development.

This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to join one of United Kingdom and Ireland’s largest water consultancies.

Job Duties:

To be successful in this role we would like to hear from candidates with the following;

  • Experience in the production of wastewater/water infrastructure and non-infrastructure feasibility/appraisal studies.
  • Experience of leading a multi-disciplinary team to complete technical project delivery.
  • Experience in the production of outline and detailed civil engineering designs for infrastructure and non-infrastructure schemes.
  • Experience in maintaining internal project management systems e.g. health and safety, programming, and financial governance systems.
  • Experience with the NEC/FIDIC suite of contracts.
  • Experience in a role which involved client management responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have broad experience in the delivery of civil engineering projects including wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects from feasibility through to design and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engaged within your industry, holding or approaching Chartered Civil Engineer status.
  • Advanced degree in civil engineering.
