We now have an exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the South West's leading employers as a Maintenance & FSC Manager based in Bodmin.

The Role

The Maintenance & FSC Manager will manage the performance, training & development of the Drinking Water Service Maintenance Craftspersons, Field Support Centre (FSC) staff and Minor Works Team. This will include the development and optimisation of working arrangements, performance measures and skilling opportunities in addition to supporting the effective processing of planned and reactive maintenance requests as part of the area delivery management team. Duties include:

 *In collaboration with the DWS Management Team support effective prioritisation of maintenance activities that optimises productivity and performance of the craftspersons and operator resources. This will include deployment of Lean RCM techniques and processes. *Manage staff resources to balance resource against demand *Ensure the FSC team deliver a positive service for the delivery unit *With the DWS Management Team agree and establish standard processes within the Field Support Centres that optimises the delivery of the local delivery team. *Help support effective reactive decision making with appropriate escalation where necessary

The ideal Maintenance & FSC Manager:

 *Proven experience of working in either a customer service or commercial delivery team *Proven supervisory experience and conflict management exposure *Proven team building, networking and motivational skills *Ability to influence, persuade and inspire others *Educated to A Level standard, minimum GCSE in Mathematics and English and a science subject
