This is an exciting opportunity for Data Analyst/Consultant to work for a leading sustainability software company in Central London working with large corporate clients.

The successful individual will be a bright, inquiring person, who is interested in gaining an overview of non-financial reporting, with a particular focus on data management, carbon footprinting and sustainability reporting.

What you will do as a Consultant

  • Support client projects, acting as the internal point of contact for delivering data management tasks.
  • Support account managers on data bureau service tasks associated with larger client projects.
  • Follow our client's delivery approach and help inform its development through working with the software and conducting wider industry research.
  • Support the development of our client's software by developing user specifications based on current or future client requirements.
  • Monitor national and international non-financial reporting standards and protocols.
  • Conduct high level analyses of clients’ sustainability reporting requirements, providing guidance and education where required.

What you will bring

  • A passion for data interpretation and a highly numerate/Excel capability with great attention to numeric detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge and interest in carbon management, sustainability and broader non-financial reporting – in particular the impact of these on commerce and society.
  • A knowledge of climate change and sustainability policy, along with legislative, market and voluntary market developments.
  • An ability to research and source information from a multitude of areas.
  • An ability to problem solve effectively, generate ideas and solutions.
  • A strong team working ethic with a willingness to provide proactive support to team members.
  • Strong communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and the interest and potential to move up to a client facing role.


  • A strong graduate level degree in a relevant subject area e.g. science, engineering, etc. (at least 2:1). Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Strong Excel and/or database experience essential.
  • Knowledge of climate change, sustainability, or non-financial reporting is a distinct advantage.
