Project Manager

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Project Manager for team, working specifically in overhead expense. This role covers our portfolio nationwide, therefore a willingness to travel is essential.

Please note: This role is offered on a 2 year fixed term contract basis.

The Role:

Joining our team, the Project Manager will provide project management and delivery assurance to the business, enabling it to meet its operational and long-term objectives. You will ensure that projects are delivered according to best practice project management techniques and standards appropriate to the type and scale of projects.

The Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered in accordance with all technical, health, safety, environmental, quality and security requirements, working in partnership with the Project Management team and key stakeholders to deliver the successful construction of projects.

You will manage the day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including the management of the of Project Engineers. The Project Manager will monitor, manage, control and report on project spend for designated projects on a continuous basis, ensuring that project spend is within agreed company financial model.

The ideal Project Manager:

 *Track record of delivery of projects to cost, quality and time parameters in waste management or related engineering field. *Proven experience of full lifecycle EPC capital project delivery in the UK including providing execution assurance and governance. *Up-to-date evidence of effective projects management and effective project portfolio management *Strong commercial knowledge of EPC project execution, project procurement, NEC3 and IChemE forms of contracting *Good understanding of the Design, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning *Understanding of UK Contractor market *Sound working knowledge of CDM regulations *Knowledge of the waste management industry, Contract procurement, environmental legislation, Health and Safety legislation and planning regulations. *Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience applicable to the role *Proven experience of translating business analysis, requirements definition and business case production into practical implementation *Proven experience of construction, commissioning and operational handover
