Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Quality Risk and Compliance Advisor for our team based in Rochester.

Quality Risk and Compliance Advisor Role:

Reporting to the Head of Quality, Risk and Compliance, the Quality Risk and Compliance Advisor will assist the management of quality systems across Viridor Resource Management (VRM).

The role will be responsible for assisting the Head of Department in management of the quality, risk and compliance functions within VRM and undertaking a range of audits as specified under the company's management third party audit procedure.

The Quality Risk and Compliance Advisor will support the Quality, Risk and Compliance Manager with regards to the administration and management of the business management systems, including the monitoring and auditing of site material conformance.  You will also work with and provide support to the VRM Commercial Team involving monitoring, recording, analysing and claims reporting to Trading Managers as well as Senior Management.

Our ideal Quality Risk and Compliance Advisor:

 *Must have an understanding of, and be fully conversant with, modern environmental legislation and techniques *Environmental or equivalent degree working toward professional chartered status *Knowledge of project management requirements and techniques to deliver projects within the environmental sector *Previous experience of waste / environmental / process industry involving regulatory dialogue *Must be accurate, diligent and self-motivated *Self-confidence to work on own and as part of a team, demonstrating personal and regional team leadership *Analysing reports and problem-solving *All Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
