South West Water now have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Water Performance Data Improvement Technician.

The Role

The Water Performance Data Improvement Technician will provide a regional office and field-based resource across South West Water and Bournemouth Water's regions to increase awareness of domestic and commercial customer water consumption and losses, supporting improved supply/demand and leakage reporting and delivery towards successful company regulatory performance.

You will work towards improving the availability and quality of clean water data for reporting and improving the analyses of data to identify opportunities for company performance improvement and the visibility of data. You will carry out office based data analysis and reporting using recognised statistical techniques and packages and you will be able to undertake field studies to investigate anomalies and opportunities in company leakage and water balance gap reporting.

Additionally, the Water Performance Data Improvement Technician will enhance clean water Outcome Delivery Incentives reporting compliance and monitoring by supporting internal and external projects and research studies.

The Ideal Water Performance Data Improvement Technician:

 *Relevant experience in Water Supply or Water Distribution Activity preferred *Technical knowledge in the operation of flow and pressure monitoring equipment *Understanding of the importance of good customer service at all times and the impact of actions on the company SIM performance. *Good background in technical problem solving
