At Viridor, we're one of the UK's leading recycling, renewable energy and waste management companies and part of the FTSE 250 Pennon Group. We put waste into action, transforming it into high quality recyclables, raw materials and energy and are at the forefront of the UK's green economy.

The wide range of recycling treatment technologies we use, including advanced and standard materials recycling facilities, mechanical biological treatment plants, composting and household waste recycling centres, means that we are able to put more of society's waste into action.

Materials Recycling Facilities (MRFs) process large volumes of municipal, commercial and industrial dry mixed materials to produce a range of high-quality recyclable outputs. A combination of advanced mechanical sorting techniques and manual quality control is used to separate the materials so that they can be reprocessed into new products.

With the Operations Managers, you'll support the Operations Team to exceed site targets on efficiency, cost and throughput on an on-going basis and assist in the investigation and mitigation of quality failures and drive develops to improve output quality.

As our new Graduate Technical Manager, you'll have strong communication and relationship building skills, good numerical and analytical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You'll be enthusiastic and positive with an ability to motivate and stay motivated when working to deadlines and conflicting or changing priorities. You'll be adaptable yet demonstrate a logical, proactive approach to problem solving.
