Our client, WES is part of the Adler and Allan Group, a provider of specialist environmental and asset management services to a range of businesses that handle, store and utilize hazardous liquids, principally oil-based fuels. The Group's targeted services have been developed to help its customers meet ever increasing regulatory and compliance-related obligations in particular by maintaining the integrity of their assets. A&A's services are performed by its highly skilled and accredited workforce on a planned and reactive basis from service centres around the UK.

We are seeking to recruit a Trainee Electrician Stage 3 to join our team in Droitwich. Reporting to the Divisional Manager, the postholder will be required to train & assist under supervision a wide range of electrical duties ranging from service and response & breakdown works through to new build installations which will be mostly in the commercial & industrial sectors with a more specific focus in to hazardous areas which will also result in working & staying away as required. Deployment will at times be with little or no notice.

Trainee Electrician Responsibilities:

* Working at various locations throughout the UK, training and assisting in new electrical installation works.
* Carrying out a selection of minor civil/construction duties such as clearing cable routes, making holes in walls to enable you to carry out your electrical installation works-under supervision by competent Engineer
* Testing of newly installed circuits/cabling and recording of results- under supervision by competent Engineer.
* Train and assist with Engineers to ensure all equipment checks are undertaken prior to commencing any works.
* Ensuring all uplifting and offloading of materials is undertaken in the correct and compliant manner with high regard for health and safety and correct working practices
* Ensuring the security of all Company equipment.
* Carrying out works in accordance with health and safety to include provided RAMS documentation. The Competent Engineer holds full responsibility for reading and signing such documentation, but training will be given in this.
* Liaising with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company-competent Engineer to train and discuss this process.
* Completing all works paperwork and submitting in a timely manner to divisional staff.
* Liaising with Line manager / office staff regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
* Any other duties for which the postholder is qualified for and capable of undertaking with supervision until deemed competent
* This list is not exhaustive and the postholder will be required to undertake additional duties for which they are qualified for.
* In addition, the postholder is expected to achieve targets set by external education establishment; achieving such targets will also contribute to performance assessment.

Trainee Electrician Requirements:

* Must possess a full UK driving licence
* A willingness to continually develop in the role and work towards obtaining the relevant qualifications to achieve "competent electrician" standard
* Must hold a minimum of Level 1 Diploma in Electrical Installation
