Our client is the county’s largest environmental charity, committed to the protection and enhancement of Norfolk’s wildlife and wild places.

Conservation Grazing Manager 
Salary is in the range £27,000 to £29,000 per annum full time 
(option to work for 4 days on a pro rata basis) 
Norwich based with Norfolk coverage

This is an exciting opportunity to be able to use your skills for the conservation of natural habitats. 

The grazing operations span the entirety of Norfolk, and the successful candidate will have a varied working environment from coastal dunes, through mixed heath to broadland fen.

This role will continue to develop and implement the charity’s conservation grazing operation on its nature reserves, and act as a first point of contact for conservation grazing issues. They have the benefit of using varied stock types including sheep, cattle, and ponies.

You will receive

  • A works vehicle to use to travel to and between sites
  • A working week of 37½ hrs per week with some out of hours work for which time off in lieu is granted.
  • Salary in the range of £27,000 to £29,000 per annum depending on experience
  • 25 days annual leave per annum (3 to be taken at Christmas) plus statutory holidays, rising incrementally to 30 days per annum.
  • Pension: contribution 8% of your salary in to the scheme with Aviva.
