We are looking to recruit a Fuel and Waste Quality Officer to join the team based at our Ardley Energy Recovery Facility (ERF). You will be required to travel to our sites in Slough and Peterborough; therefore, a full driving licence is essential.

The Role:

The ERF Fuel and Waste Quality Officer is responsible for arranging and conducting audits and collecting samples and analysis at customer premises and at the Company's ERFs and Landfills, to ensure Waste delivered to the ERFs and Landfills is compliant with specifications. The postholder will be responsible for the production and communication of reports generated from site visits and external laboratory analysis; including reporting of non-conformances to the relevant teams.

The ERF Fuel and Waste Quality Officer may be required to visit customer premises to obtain samples and assess suitability of material for landfill disposal and Landfill Tax banding. This may include the collection of trommel fines samples and subsequent dispatch to external accredited laboratories for testing.

The role requires liaison with Contract Managers, ERF & Landfill Operational Management with regards to Fuel and Waste quality to ensure sites are compliant.
