We now have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join the team at our Bargeddie Transfer Station.

The Role:

Joining our team, the Production Manager will competently plan and manage production activities at Bargeddie Transfer Station to ensure that all operations are carried out in a safe, economical and timely manner in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures. You'll maximise productivity and plant efficiency through active management of production staff.

You will communicate effectively with the Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Supervisors, Viridor haulage department and all other internal departments within Viridor as well as external agencies such as NLC, HSE, SEPA, as directed by Lead Unit Manager to ensure maximum production efficiency.

You'll hold responsibility for observing Input material, maintaining and regularly evaluating throughput, optimising recovery rates and ensuring consistent quality of outputs.

Our Ideal Production Manager:

 *Experience of operation within Materials Recycling Facilities (MRF's) and waste facilities *Proven ability to deliver improvements in all areas of responsibility *Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulation and safe systems of work *Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with other staff, customers, regulators and the general public. *Good knowledge of plant and machinery relevant to waste recycling and recovery *Knowledge of cost control and record keeping *Experience of supervising staff *Hold relevant COTC's *Minimum of IOSH Managing Safety
