Onshore Wind Farm Development Manager (EIA/Planning) required for a successful onshore wind farm developer in Scotland’s Central Belt.

Right now, they are going through a period of growth, and are looking to bring on Developers who are keen to ensure that they move in the direction of the company’s growth plans.

You'll be working within a hard working team of onshore wind farm developers who focus on Applications for consent to build Wind Farms and wind energy generation development.

Reporting to the Head of Planning based in the Central Belt office, the right individual will be responsible for project management of the development and planning process. An understanding of bringing projects from concept through the planning and project programming process is important.

The role responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

* Project management of the wind farm design, development and planning process (including planning appeals)
* Knowledge of the wind farm industry, ideally working as a wind farm developer
* Negotiation of landowner and third party agreements
* Knowledge of grid connection alternatives
* Engaging and managing outsourced resources including EIA consultancies
* Maintaining all key relationships with third party stakeholders and organisations, particularly local authorities,
* To a lesser extent working with some project financing and development budgeting
