We are now looking to recruit a Health, Safety, Security & Assurance (HSSA) Advisor to join our team. The HSSA Advisor will be based in the South East region, although visits to other operational sites and facilities across the company's portfolio will be required.

The Role:

Reporting to the Health, Safety, Security & Assurance (HSSA) Manager the HSSA Advisor will provide professional advice, guidance and support to the business on all matters relating to Health, Safety, Security & Assurance.

The HSSA Advisor will monitor compliance with relevant legislation throughout the company and ensure policies, procedures and practices are adopted. You will ensure that Health and Safety is always at the forefront of management thinking throughout the business.

You'll also be responsible for advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery, welfare and occupational diseases as well as conduct formal inspections and reviews of functional activities to ensure Health & Safety is operating in accordance with business aims and objectives.

Our ideal Health, Safety, Security & Assurance:

 *NEBOSH National Certificate or equivalent level 3 qualification in Occupational Safety and Health *Experience in a specialist Health & Safety role advising a business on systems and processes and/or have had a front line Health & Safety responsibility. *Proven track record of implementing Health and Safety standards in operational environment *Ideally, you will have knowledge of quality systems, such as ISO 9001 and 18001 *Good communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently at all levels both verbally and in writing *Full UK Driving Licence with the ability to travel across the operational area
