We are set to open the UK's largest multi polymer plastic recycling plant in Avonmouth near Bristol.

Our new world class facility is expected to process 81,000 tonnes of PET, HDPE and PP plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays in its first year of operation, rising to 89,000 tonnes in year three. This will produce 60,000 tonnes of recycled plastic in year one, rising to 63,000 tonnes in year three.

Our Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of the site maintenance strategy. Working in partnership with the Unit Manager and Production Team, the Maintenance Manager will coordinate all activities and optimise plant availability, performance and quality.

Working within the guidelines of WorkSmart strategy, Health, Safety & Environmental regulations, Site Permit and other statutory regulations, a priority for this role will be ensuring that the site maintenance department is properly organised, staffed and managed, so experience of leading a team is essential.

Our ideal Maintenance Manager will have:

 *A background in a process, production or manufacturing environment, as well as the relevant engineering experience. *A strong no compromise approach to health and safety and environmental compliance *Working knowledge of health and safety regulations. (PUWER, LOLER, Working at height etc) *Strong leadership skills to lead and develop the maintenance team in a start-up scenario, with an ability to mentor and develop their team effectively. *In depth understanding of a strategic approach to engineering and maintenance *Full driving licence
