Fuel Reception Operator

We are now looking to recruit a Fuel Reception Operator for our team at our Glasgow Recycling & Renewable Energy Centre (GRREC). You'll work 42.5 hours per week, across 7 days shift rotation. A shift allowance will be applicable for this role.

The Role:

Joining our team, the Fuel Reception Operator is responsible for operating mobile plant, such as loading shovels, material handlers, MEWPs, overhead cranes, tele-handlers, fork-lift trucks and any other machinery as required in accordance with Glasgow RREC procedures.

The job holder must also manage waste safely and efficiently within the GRREC facility and assist with the cleaning and maintenance of the GRREC facility. Through an efficient manner of work, the Fuel Reception Operator will be able to contribute towards the achievement of throughput and quality targets.

The ideal Fuel Reception Operator:

 *Experience in the operation of mobile plant *Excellent Health & Safety knowledge *Ability to think logically and solve problems effectively and efficiently *CITB qualification Loading Shovel, 360 Grab, Forklift Truck Licence. Ideally, Lifting / Slinging, plant or FLT certification *Understanding of safe systems of work i.e. plant isolations and safety systems *Knowledge and experience of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
