A fantastic opportunity has for an Assistant Site Manager to join our team in our Minehead Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC), working 40 hours a week.

The Role:

The HWRC Assistant Site Manager will assist with the management of the day to day running of a busy household waste recycling centre, to ensure that it operates safely, remains compliant to regulations and meets set contract targets.

You will be responsible for up to 6 site assistants, visiting LGV Drivers, visitors, contractors and clients; providing leadership and direction to the business unit to ensure that a quality service is provided to Somerset Waste Partnership in accordance with the contract.

Our Ideal HWRC Assistant Site Manager:

 *Previous experience within the waste industry. *Proven experience of managing a team. *Experience of providing excellent customer service and experience of dealing with complaints *Basic knowledge of health and safety practices. *Basic knowledge of minor construction and repair work that could be needed on HWRC sites *Understanding of plant machinery and ability to identify defects *Full driving licence *First aid in the workplace *COTC in waste transfer or CMS unit completion
