Are you an Aboriculturalistic with previous experience in your field? Are you interested in a long term opportunity working on one of the largest schemes in the UK right now? Then do read on

My client is a large tier one main contractor looking to add to their team due to an increase in the workload. This is a chance to help deliver one of the largest infrastructure schemes in the UK, supporting the team to ensure trees are effectively protected from impact by site and construction activities.

The role sits within the Environmental team and the individual will report to the arboricultural lead. Your day to day activities will include:

• Undertaking site visits to assure that recommended tree protection measures have been implemented
• Support the arboriculture team in verifying vegetation clearance permits
• Liaise with site teams and project engineers to provide appropriate advice in relation to trees
• Assess the condition and safety of trees as land comes into possession
• Undertake tree surveys in accordance with BS5837: 2012 and to client tree survey standards

The right candidate will;

- Be aware of, and able to implement the recommendations of the relevant British Standards and other codes of practice relevant to their area of expertise
- Have experience of undertaking tree surveys in accordance with BS5837: 2012
- Have experience in undertaking tree safety assessments
- Level 3 or above qualification in Arboriculture
- LANTRA certificate of competence in Professional Tree Inspection
- Full UK Driving Licence
