Regional Engineering Manager - ERF

Fast growing and investing over £1.2bn in the development of a network of state-of-the-art Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs) across the UK, we're already established as the second largest operator in the UK and looking to become the largest. The ERFs reduce the reliance on landfill or the need to export waste abroad for treatment, whilst becoming a sustainable revenue generating business. 

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an Energy Recover Facility Regional Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis of 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.   

This role will require travel to all our Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) sites but will primarily be based from one of our Southern sites either Beddington, Ardley, Avonmouth or Cardiff depending on the successful candidate's location.

The Role:

As a member of the Central Engineering Team, the Regional Engineering Manager is responsible for supporting the site Engineering Managers to deliver optimal long-term availability of the plant, to preserve the value of the assets and to meet set health and safety, environmental and financial targets.

The Regional Engineering Manager will be primarily focused on the provision of support and guidance of the site Engineering Managers across the southern ERF sites (Beddington, Ardley, Avonmouth and Trident Park) to ensure a sustained level of high engineering standards and best practice maintenance procedures achieved.

Working closely with Plant Managers, Head of Operations and the Performance Improvement Team to deliver robust engineering solutions and contractual support to meet plant availability targets.

Our ideal ERF Regional Engineering Manager:

 *Extensive knowledge of maintenance and engineering management within the process or power plants industry *Good knowledge of pressure parts legislation, including inspection and repair methods *Possess appropriate engineering qualifications with a minimum of HNC (or equivalent) *Minimum of IOSH (or equivalent) safety qualification *Experience of health, safety and environmental legislation relevant to the process or power industry *Effective team building, encouraging, motivation and people value skills. *Ability to think logically and decisively to provide effective engineering management solutions. *Experience in managing teams and contractors to deliver agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) *Experience of outage management to successfully deliver work packages to deadlines *Strong operational and commercial experience *Full UK driving licence
