Acre is excited to partner with one of the UK’s leading sustainability services providers to identify a technology leader to drive an ambitious AI and Machine Learning data programme to enable multiple organisations to transition toward a low carbon economy.

Founded in 2009, our client has quickly become one of the UK’s leading boutique sustainability consultancies. As a result of 50% to a 100% year on year growth, our client is keen to find a new CTO to outline the company’s technological vision, implement strategies and ensure alignment of the companies’ technological resources with their business needs. You will be working with an impressive order book of over 200 clients including The Crown Estate, Aviva Investors and Hermes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Setting a new strategy and vision for optimisation of the technology platforms while managing, developing and maximising the organisations’ technology
* Creating timelines for the development and deployment of new technology
* Keeping the organisation up to date with the latest technology trends and developments; including Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
* Implementing and developing data science solutions; including Machine Learning and AI
* Being a strategic partner, creating business opportunities and promoting growth/increased profits

This is a very exciting and pioneering new role, focusing on the power of data to drive positive environmental change within Fortune 500 corporates, global governments and some of the largest financial service organisations. We need a dynamic leader to create new business opportunities, develop new technologies and services offerings while optimising the technology that already exists.

* Previous experience as a CTO or part of a Senior Leadership Team
* First-hand experience of commercial leadership in a fast growth environment
* Demonstrable success in building and retaining successful teams
* Highly engaging, high achiever who is technically savvy and a strategic thinker
* Ability to manage growth and manage change in a highly competitive marketplace
