Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an Assistant Collections Business Manager for team in Rochester; working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

The Role:

Joining our team, the Assistant Collections Business Manager will with the aid of the transport team, the day to day operation of the Kent collection operations, ensuring that all Health and Safety, Road Transport, Environmental, Employment and other applicable legislation is adhered to.

You will manage operational costs, ensuring they do not exceed budgeted expectations. You'll lead the planning and control of the fleet operations and ensure, through constant review, that a cost effective, quality service is carried out identifying opportunities for business growth.

Additionally, the Assistant Collections Business Manager will report all incidents, accidents and complaints by the approved method, taking action to prevent reoccurrence.

Our ideal Assistant Collections Business Manager:

 *A proven track record of managing a Logistics operation successfully and controlling fleet operations *Previous experience of customer experience management and strategy. *Proven track record of delivering commercial targets  *An excellent working knowledge of the waste and recyclate market *Full knowledge of Road Transport and Environmental legislation. *Excellent working knowledge of the waste and recycling market within the specified geographical area. *Experience of preparing budgets, forecasts and month end reports *Knowledge of complex reports and KPI's and how they are used within a Logistics business *Excellent knowledge of P&L and accounting procedures *Proven ability to working within timescales and meeting deadlines *Good routing, logistic, administrative and clerical skills in a transport or related environment *Full CPC National for road transport, IOSH managing safely or equivalent, Full driving licence.
