We now have an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our team, covering our National Portfolio, working 37.5 hours a week; your base location is flexible.

The Role:

The Maintenance Manager will lead and manage a team responsible for the routine and non-routine maintenance of all Powergen assets, including, but not limited to, in-frame rebuilds and de-cokes of the Landfill Gas, Anaerobic Digestion and NG utilisation equipment, gas plant servicing and LTP maintenance.

You will ensure that all works are carried out to the highest standards, in accordance with best practice and within the agreed timescales.

The Maintenance Manager will carry out investigation and root cause analysis of Powergen asset failures and make recommendations for changes to parts, operational practices and maintenance as required. You will also produce, analyse and make recommendations on Milestone service data and liaise with operational teams to implement procedures tailored to site specifics.

Our ideal Maintenance Manager:

 *Experience leading a geographically dispersed team looking after internal combustion gas and diesel engines *Demonstration of relevant management experience in a heavy engineering environment *City & Guilds (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering *In depth understanding of a strategic approach to engineering and maintenance *Financially astute with good commercial acumen *Good understanding of engineering best practice *Working knowledge of health and safety regulations *Practical and innovative engineering and maintenance skills *Full UK Driving Licence is essential
