Job Title: Senior Sustainability Engineer

Location: Bournemouth

A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy are looking to appoint a Sustainability Engineer to join their growing Sustainability Team. As a member of the Sustainability Team, you will help to deliver design work for compliance, planning submissions as well as assisting with ventilation design and project delivery of modelling work in SAP/IES.

Role & Company:

As part of the Sustainability Team and alongside multi-disciplinary engineers, you will undertake modelling work and provide design solutions to suite client and project requirements. You will be responsible for assessing compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations, TM52, TM59, TM54 and Environmental Assessments. You will provide a diverse consultancy service improving the energy efficiency and sustainability performance on a range of projects through a multifaceted approach. You will work within the Sustainability Team but also have the opportunity to direct project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this post you’ll need;

* An understanding/keen interest in Sustainability
* Experience in producing energy models and carrying out Part L compliance using IES
* Carrying out energy audits
* Working with clients to produce sustainability strategies and advise on best practice
* Ability to develop effective relationships with good interpersonal skills
* Good organisation and planning skills, with the ability to work under own initiative
* Ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to learn within a team based environment
* Strong academic background, with a relevant engineering degree (preferred)
