We're now looking for a Hub Site Technician to join the team based at our Pynes Water Treatment Works (WTW) in Exeter.

What will you be doing?

As our Hub Site Technician, you will operate a complex water treatment site and associated plant and equipment, ensuring water quality and quantity is kept within company standards. You will manage the out of hours alarms for the spoke sites in line with company procedures.

The Hub Site Technician will ensure water quality and quantity is maintained, taking water quality samples and carrying out on site analysis in accordance with works' instructions. You will ensure that all abnormal events are dealt with in accordance with company procedures and are reported to the Resources and Production Site Manager.

Initially this role will involve working as part of a 24/7 shift rotation but will move to a day shift with out of hours standby.

What do you need?

 *Experience in Water Treatment or other relevant process *Knowledge of PDA/EDA devices *Knowledge of water treatment processes, systems, legislation, policies and procedures *Excellent organisation skills with the ability to adapt and organise workload to changing priorities *Experience and relevant licences to operate site specific vehicles; 4WD, forklift and tractor/trailer *Ability to reach sound judgements and decisions when dealing with often complex issues and operating in highly pressurised situations *Mechanical, Electrical, ICA or Scientific background would be advantageous *Flexibility of working hours

In return for your hard work as our Hub Site Technician, we can offer a starting salary of £23,554 per annum dependent on skills and experience + a working pattern supplement (Progressing to £27,122 per annum based on Water Treatment Progression Scheme).
