Site Quality Assurance Engineer - London - Freelance

We are currently looking to recruit a Site Quality Assurance Engineer with previous project handover experience to work on a major infrastructure / rail project in London.

This is a freelance position for 6 months starting in September.

Roles and responsibilities:

* Track and review assurance documents including red-line drawings and ITPs to ensure information submitted is accurate and verified before passing to the handover team
* Track and manage delivery of legacy assurance in line with the Asset Management Plan (AMP)
* Utilise plans and information provided by the delivery team
* Assist in producing and review of the Material Approval Requests (MARs)
* Assess if particular materials meet expected standards and specifications
* Act as a second party check for the inspection of works carried out
* Support the team with QA process, review management documentation and lead document submission in line with document submission plans.

Candidate requirements:

* Handover experience
* Understanding of UK Rail and infrastructure
* knowledge of crossrail standards
* Degree in Civil engineering or HND equivalent
* Experience working in a similar role and with knowledge of PFI and Crossrail standards
* Experience working on fitout / civil / MEP projects
* Experience working on project close out and the handover stage of a project
